Our mission will consist of a fleet of 2, 3, 4 & 6 wheeled spacecraft that will pedal through the streets of New Orleans some 5 miles in total. Launch Day will commence at 5:30 AM CMT at Mission Base Napoleon. The fleet will then move along St. Charles Avenue with a stop for provisions and fuel at Space Port St. Charles. After unloading the Academy Cadets, the mission will continue on toward Space Port Quarter where the fleet will likely encounter species and beings from unknown worlds. We will attempt to communicate with these beings through a universal language of music and light. After a successful exchange of ideas and camaraderie, the fleet will conduct the final leg of the mission, passing through the back side of the quarter as we arrive at Space Port Marigny. The crew will dock their ships and convene with a celebratory mission debriefing as we retell our adventure to anyone that chooses to listen. Although the preparation for this mission will no doubt prove to be challenging, we look forward to the adventure that such an endeavor is sure to bring.
All wheeled vehicles will be provided by the organization and we will hold multiple events throughout the year in order to transform the vehicles into proper mission-ready spacecraft. We will notify all crew well in advance of such events so make sure you are signed up to receive Mission Briefings (mailing list) that will be decimated through email and social media. In addition, please download the Mission Manual as this will be a working document that outlines the scale and scope of the mission. And lastly, if you choose to participate with us on this epic journey, please Join the Mission.
